Questions frequently asked about shears

Q. How long will my shears last?
A. In an average year your Dennis Bernard shears will last six months to one year before needing service. Depending on the type of hair cutting and hair type you style.

Q. What is GCS?
A. GCS is a new type of edge invented to meet the needs of new hair designers. An innovative type of serration that holds the hair in place while dry cutting yet still allow you to slide cut.

Q. What if I drop my shear?
A. Dropping your shear will nick the blade and throw them out of balance. When this happens simply return your shears to our service center. For a nominal fee of $25.00 ($35.00 for GCS shears) they will repair your shear and return them to you.

Q. What if my shears break?
A. Your Dennis Bernard shears are warrantied for two years for incidental breakage as well as any other repair. See warranty and service agreement.

Q. Can any sharpener sharpen my Dennis Bernard shear?
A. No. The use of any other service center will void the warranty and may ruin your shears. See warranty and service agreement.

Your POWERTOOLS® are guaranteed to be free of any manufacturer’s defects in materials and workmanship within 2 years of date of purchase. In case a problem should arise with your shears please send them with a $25.00
